
Lenawee County, MI – The Lenawee County Information-Technology / Equalization Committee voted to place the elimination of the County’s contract with ZenCity on the March Personnel/Ways and Means Committee.

Deputy Administrator Elliott also highlighted the use of surveys by ZenCity… and it also uses Census data to ensure that the county is getting an accurate representation of their constituents.
Minutes of the IT/Equalization Committee meeting say that Commissioner Dustin Krasny is not in favor of contracting with ZenCity. The minutes said that he is uncomfortable with supporting a company that is not in the United Stated monitoring social media.

Lenawee County has been using ZenCity for about three years. The State of Michigan, as well as many county governments, are also utilizing ZenCity.
