
Clinton, MI – Since the passing of the 2021 Bond, much planning and work has gone into the design and engineering of the improvements to the Clinton Community Schools district’s existing facilities.
Superintendent Kevin Beazley said that in January 2022, the Board of Education approved final bids for the DPP Preschool addition. Construction began in Spring 2022 and was completed in early 2023. The Preschool welcomed students in 2023.
Also in the Spring 2022, the design work began to replace the aging HVAC system in the current
high school.
The high school addition is next to be completed and will be set to the West of the current high school. The new high school addition in Clinton will include 19 classrooms, STEM lab, band and art room, 3 court gymnasium with elevated walking track, state of the art weight room, media center, cafeteria, newly renovated special education rooms, new classroom equipment and furnishings.
Beazley said that construction will begin in the Spring of 2023.
