Adrian, MI – Lenawee County School Boards were acknowledged by the Lenawee County Commissioners on Wednesday because January is ‘School Board Recognition Month.’
The proclamation read, in part, “…local school board members are exceptional people who tackle the enormous job of governing school districts, and demonstrate, to the nearly 15,000 K-12 students in Lenawee County, the high character of civic duty and responsibility that all citizens should engage…”
Mark Haag, the Superintendent of the Lenawee Intermediate School District, and Carrie Dillon, with the LISD Board of Ed., were there to accept the plaque on behalf of the County School Board Members.
