Adrian, MI – A 38-year-old Clinton man was killed in a car vs. pedestrian crash on the overpass at US 223, east of Industrial Drive in Adrian.
On December 28th, at approximately 7:11 AM, the Adrian Police Department was dispatched to the crash.
A news release by the department Tuesday said that a van, driving southeast on US223, struck a pedestrian who was walking eastbound, in the traveled portion of the eastbound lane.
The pedestrian was killed as a result of the crash. The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.
Police say it was dark at the time of the crash, and there are no highway lights in the area. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
