Adrian, MI – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced thirty-five communities around Michigan, including some in the WLEN listening area, have been awarded over $800,000 in grants through the Match on Main grant program.
The program is aimed at supporting small local businesses to create resiliency and strengthen downtowns. The communities, who receive the grant funding from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, in turn award grants of up to $25,000 to eligible businesses seeking support.
Area Match on Main grant winners include:
- Adrian Armory Community Center, Incorporated
- Go Ice Cream LLC, in Ypsilanti
- Textiles LLC, of Milan
All three businesses were awarded the full amount possible… $25,000.
