Adrian, MI – Lenawee Now received recognition from the Mid-America Economic Development Council awards program that were presented at its Annual Competitiveness Conference, held recently in Chicago.
Recognition was presented to Lenawee Now in the ‘Workforce and Talent’ category, for their Align Talent Consortium’s Industry Collaboratives.
Lenawee Now, in partnership with the Lenawee Intermediate School District and Michigan Works Southeast, has demonstrated success implementing the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Talent Pipeline Management methodology with groups of employers who share common pain points.
The ‘Workforce and Talent’ award was given as an activity and/or innovative program that attracts new talent to your area, strengthens the skills of your existing workforce and/or encourages retention of young and or new talent in your area.
