Tecumseh, MI – The Tecumseh Community Pool has announced their winter schedule for swim lessons, classes, as well as registration for the Tigersharks, their competitive swim team.
Swim lessons at the Tecumseh Community Pool can begin for children as young as 9 months. Their swim lessons include a tots program up to a level 4, which prepares swimmers to join a competitive swim team.
Swim lessons begin in January and Lenawee County residents can register online at tecumsehcommunitypool.com.
In addition to opportunities for Lenawee youth, the Tecumseh Community Pool continues to offer lap swim, open swim and water aerobics for adults. There is open lap swim Monday through Friday from 6 am until 11 am, as well as evenings on Monday and Wednesday. The community pool also offers instructor led water aerobics three days a week.
For those looking for a winter exercise opportunity, water aerobics has shown to improve heart health and cardiovascular strength. With no membership requirement, Lenawee residents are able to pay per visit or purchase a punch card at the Tecumseh Community Pool. The cost for non-Tecumseh residents is only $1 more than the resident cost. Seniors and Veterans do receive a pool use discount.
Visit their website for a full pool schedule, details on registering for lessons, as well as rates for pool use.
