Adrian, MI – The Lenawee ISD recently held a banquet to honor volunteers, benefactors and Honorary board members of Maurice Spear Campus.
Board member Joe Zilke said that there were three videos shown, produced by Kelly Heidebreder and the crew from LISD, depicting the past, present, and future plans of MSC.
One video featured Ruth Spears, Maurice Spears’ daughter, speaking about her father’s vision of the campus as a way to help young people in trouble get their lives back in order.
The Maurice Spear Campus is a 66-bed, Lenawee County-operated detention and treatment facility located on 35 acres of land near Adrian. The complex has five buildings: secure detention, residential treatment center, a school, gymnasium, and chapel.
