Adrian, MI – Thanks to the generous Lenawee County community WLEN and Q-95 were able to raise over $40,000 for local veterans during the 17th Annual Thank A Vet… with two area schools contributing hundreds of dollars towards the cause.
Adrian Public School’s Alexander Elementary and Sand Creek Community Schools donated, combined, over $700 to the local fund which directly supports veterans in Lenawee County through the ‘Dire Need Fund’…which helps pay for everyday expenses, and big ticket items.
The two schools have been donating to Thank A Vet for many years…and this year, they are part of the group that set the fundraising record!
