Onsted, MI – The Irish Hills area of Lenawee County had a busy election day on Tuesday…with several school and governmental choices to make. WLEN News has the details on the contested races in the area.
Onsted Community Schools will have Jason Terakedis and Raymond Tessier Jr. on their board, as they were the top-two vote-getters.
John Weber, Carrie Mae Shafter, and Dustin Blakley will be Cement City Village Trustees. The Cement City Village Operating Renewal Proposal passed by a 66-53 vote.
Lenawee County voters also had their voices heard for out-of-county school district, Columbia. Local voters favored Crystal Butler and Roger Downey for the two open seats on the Columbia School Board.
All results from Tuesday’s election are unofficial, until they are canvassed by the Lenawee County Board of Canvassers.
