Adrian, MI – The Adrian City Commission voted unanimously to support the work that’s being done by Lenawee Now…in the wake of the County Commissioners voting to not fund the organization for a second consecutive quarter.
The City’s resolution says that, by failing to provide funding for the organization, the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners has failed the communities, including the City of Adrian, who continue to support and utilize Lenawee Now.
The document says that the City Commission requests that the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners remember the role that Lenawee Now plays… and act to restore funding for Lenawee Now.
The County cut third quarter funding for the organization around the same time that they issued their recommendation on the proposed Project Phoenix.
