Michigan State Police Investigating Sept. 15th Crash that Seriously Injured Stevens Disposal Worker

Dundee Twp., Monroe County – The Michigan State Police are investigating the crash on September 15th that seriously injured an employee of Stevens Disposal.

The crash occurred at  approximately 7am on West Lloyd Road near US 23. Upon arrival, Troopers determined that the 30-year-old man had been struck by a motor vehicle. Troopers said in a news release Thursday that he had walked into the oncoming traffic lane and was struck by an approaching motor vehicle.

The subject was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing and neither speed, drugs, nor alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash.
