Morenci, MI – The 28th annual Morenci Labor Day Bridge Walk will take place this holiday weekend… bringing the community together for a short walk, short speeches, and a good time.
The annual walk is a local tradition that began in 1994 at the Silver Creek Bridge. The walk is modeled after the Mackinac Bridge Walk in northern Michigan on the same day. There will be short speeches by local politicians of one minute or less…a short bridge walk with short speeches.
The walk will take place at 11am on Monday, September 5th. The Morenci Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Lenawee Humane Society…so you are welcome to bring you well-behaved dog!
