Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Officially Asks State Police to Lead Dee Warner Case

Adrian, MI – “Justice for Dee” held a rally on the front lawn of the Lenawee County Courthouse in Adrian Monday afternoon, fifteen months since Dee Warner’s disappearance from her home near Tipton.

Family members, the family’s private investigator, and local law enforcement all spoke to the crowd in attendance about the case.

Lenawee County Sheriff, Troy Bevier (pictured above), said that he has officially asked the Michigan State Police to take the lead in the case…which was followed by cheers and applause from the crowd. WLEN News asked Bevier about the Sheriff Department’s role moving forward, should the MSP take the lead in the case…

 

Dee’s brother, Gregg Hardy (pictured below), spoke with WLEN News about the announcement by Bevier…and his views on the progress of the case…

Hardy talked about the continued support from the community…

 

Sheriff Bevier said that he would let WLEN News know what the response is from the MSP with respect to his request.
