Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian Emergency Operations Center and representatives of the Riverview Terrace apartment building have been working with local agencies to find short and long term housing for the residents of Riverview Terrace.

In a news release issued Wednesday afternoon, the City said that the Lenawee Community Foundation will accept monetary donations on behalf of the City to directly assist residents. Donations may be made directly to the Lenawee Community Foundation via check, phone, or online at https://lenaweecommunityfoundation.com/. Use the special designation of ‘housing crisis’ when making donations.

Resident needs are currently being assessed, and a list of needs and a drop off location will be published to the City website and social media pages as soon as it is available.

Dial-A-Ride services will not be available on Friday, July 29th, due to resident transport taking place that day.

College Avenue and the adjacent sidewalk will remain closed from George Street to Church Street until further notice. The City of Adrian asks the public to avoid the Riverview Terrace property for safety reasons.

A press conference will be held on Friday, July 29th at 9:00am, at Comstock Park, 263 West Maumee Street in Adrian.
