President Abraham Lincoln Impersonator Coming Back to Adrian District Library

Adrian, MI – Abraham Lincoln impersonator Kevin Wood will return to the Adrian District Library for a living history presentation in August.

In ‘Lincoln as Storyteller,’ Wood will share stories about our nation’s history through personal and humorous anecdotes from the nation’s 16th president.

Often referred to as “The Great Emancipator,” Lincoln is well-known for abolishing slavery, delivering the Gettysburg Address, and being one of four presidents who was assassinated while in office.

Wood has been portraying Lincoln since 2000 and has made more than 1,300 appearances in 31 states and several countries.

Following his presentation on August 1st at 6pm, Wood will be available to answer questions and take photos.

‘Lincoln as Storyteller’ is most appropriate for ages 12 and older. The Library is located in downtown Adrian, on East Maumee Street.
