Lenawee County, MI – Lenawee County’s two largest cities will have their trash collection services delayed by one day because of the 4th of July holiday on Monday.
In Adrian, collection will take place Wednesday the 6th. Residents on the north side of Maumee Street will also have recycling collected on the 6th.
In Tecumseh, collection in the eastern zone will be on the 6th…with the western zone taking place on Thursday, the 7th.
The City of Adrian’s new trash contract with Steven’s Disposal has started…and with it, new trash and recycling totes.
Residents on the North side of Maumee Street will have recycling collected on Wednesday the 6th as well. If you wish to not recycle, you may call City Hall and they will collect your recycling tote.
If you are over the age of 70 or have a medical note, you can have your trash tote collected. Opting out of the totes does not decrease the annual cost, which has doubled from the last contract. Also, residents will be billed one time per year, at a cost of $240. These bills are going out this month.
