Adrian, MI – The Adrian Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 500 block of Beechwood Drive in Adrian Monday afternoon.
Chief Vince Emrick told WLEN News in an email that officers made contact with witnesses who had observed a subject with a handgun and later heard a shot fired from the same direction.
APD then made contact with the individual and determined a single shot had been fired in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported and no damage found.
The subject appeared to be intoxicated and was taken to Hickman hospital for evaluation and treatment. Several firearms were removed from the home. Charges are pending at this time.
