Gleaner Life Donates $100,000 to Local Not-for-Profit Organizations

Adrian, MI – Gleaner Life Insurance Society employees recently identified 21 local, not-for-profit organizations and, with the help of  matching GLIS donations, contributed $100,000 to the groups.

2022 marks the second year in a row that the annual Gleaner Life Gives program has raised $100,000. It works in conjunction with Lenawee Cares, the campaign supported by the Lenawee Community Foundation.

The following includes the totals for each group, listed alphabetically:

Adrian Community Preschool, $8,510; Associated Charities, $5,530; Boy Scouts, $5,000; Boys & Girls Club, $6,970; Catherine Cobb Safe House, $3,810; Catholic Charities, $952; The Daily Bread, $7,860; Daybreak Adult Services, $3,590; Department on Aging, $2,470; Goodwill, $6,832; Habitat for Humanity, $200; Hope Community Center, $1,948; Hospice of Lenawee, $10,930; Housing Help of Lenawee, $3,450; Lenawee Humane Society, $11,778; Neighbors of Hope, $5,190; Salvation Army, $3,330; Share the Warmth, $5,300; St. Mary’s Food Pantry, $2,380; St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, $1,220; and YMCA, $3,000.
