Sand Creek, MI – Sand Creek Community Schools had an unplanned lockdown drill on Tuesday morning.
A post on the district’s social media said that the lockdown alert was accidentally set off when the system controls were being moved to another location.
Sand Creek Schools apologizes for the inconvenience and any confusion. They said that they notified law enforcement, staff, and students immediately.
SC said that the good news was that it was a great drill to see how staff and students both would respond to an unexpected drill.
