Tecumseh, MI – WLEN News continues their coverage on the proposed sports and community complex that would be constructed at the former Tecumseh Products site, commonly referred to as ‘Project Phoenix.’

On a recent View Point program, Lenawee County Administrator Kim Murphy talked about the next steps that the County, and its Commissioners, will take with respect to the project…

Lenawee County announced Friday morning that the meeting on June 6th will be from 5pm to 6pm at the Old Courthouse in Adrian.

Administrators will be collecting questions from the elected officials in advance in order to organize necessary subject matter experts and expedite the study session’s efficiency. This will be a working project study session and not an official meeting for any group. The county says that the public is invited to observe, but no public comment will be allowed during the meeting.

Beyond this study session, the County has two regularly scheduled meetings in which Project Phoenix information will be formally presented to the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, June 7th at 10am, during the regularly scheduled Personnel / Ways and Means Meeting and on Wednesday, June 8th at 1:30 PM, during the regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners Meeting.
