Adrian Twp., MI – ProMedica is readying one of its ambulances filled with medical equipment and supplies to be donated to Ukraine to help support the country’s healthcare workers and citizens in their time of need.
ProMedica is working with the Ukrainian Medical Association of North America (UMANA), a non-profit association providing medical supplies and emergency support to Ukraine. That association will assist with transporting the vehicle and its contents overseas.
Before the ambulance leaves the area, it will be driven to multiple ProMedica hospital sites, where employees will have the opportunity to sign the vehicle’s exterior with messages of support for the people of Ukraine. Employees at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital signed the ambulance on Monday. The ambulance is making its stop in the Toledo-area before it goes to Ukraine.
