Lansing, MI – The three state championship teams from Hudson High School were honored with a trip to the Michigan capitol, in Lansing.
State Senator Dale Zorn said, in part: “With three team state titles, it has been an amazing and historic school year for the Hudson Tigers. While cheer, football and wrestling are very different, these young men and women all showed the same ability and determination to achieve their goals.”
In November, the Hudson football team won the Division 8 state championship by beating Beal City 14-7 at Ford Field, completing an undefeated 14-0 season.
In February, the Tigers wrestling team earned their ninth Division 4 state title since 2009 with a 47-13 win over New Lothrop at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.
In March, the Hudson competitive cheer team won their third-straight Division 4 state championship at the Delta Plex in Grand Rapids.
