Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian’s Main Street-DDA Board of Directors has announced that Jay Marks has been selected as its new Executive Director.
The position is tasked with helping to implement a unique approach to historic preservation-based economic development strategies and help manage success for the long term.
Born and raised in Adrian, Jay established and co-owns The Marks Trading Company with his wife Gwynne. She will be transitioning to the day-to-day operational role for the company, so Jay can focus on the Main Street Director’s role.
Jay has been an Adrian Public School Board Trustee for the last four years.
In February, he was also hired as the Market Master for the Adrian City Market, which will kick-off on May 21st.
