Adrian Twp., MI – One person sustained life threatening… and another had minor injuries… as a result of a four vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Adrian Township.
The Police department reports that the crash occurred at around 3:20pm at the intersection of Hunt Road and Tipton Highway.
The investigation at the scene showed that a vehicle driven by a 62 year old Willis resident was on northbound Tipton. He stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded northbound on Tipton, failing to yield the right of way to a vehicle on eastbound Hunt Road.
The car on Hunt struck the at-fault vehicle, which was then hit by a vehicle westbound on Hunt. The at-fault vehicle then ended up striking a fourth one…which had been stopped at the stop sign on southbound Tipton Highway.
Both people injured were in the at-fault vehicle, and were reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
