Monroe, MI – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has reported another in-custody death at the County Jail…the second such death this month.
Corrections officers found the 19-year-old inmate unresponsive in his cell. They immediately began life saving measures…performing CPR.
First responders continued CPR upon arrival…but he was unable to be revived.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says that the death of the 19-year-old Temperance man will be investigated thoroughly and detailed.
Out of respect for the family, the victim’s identity is being withheld at this time. The Sheriff’s Office is saddened at the loss of life and extends their condolences to the man’s family.
