Monroe, MI – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shots-fired incident at the Deluxe Inn on Telegraph Road in Bedford Township on Saturday.
It was reported that there were two bullet holes in a window of one of the motel rooms…and by the time deputies arrived…the occupants of the room and the shooter had fled the scene.
After using surveillance footage and tips from the public, they were able to tentatively identify the shooter as a man who frequents the City of Toledo.
A 33-year-old Toledo man was taken into custody without incident on Sunday afternoon.
The suspect’s identity is being withheld until formal charges are announced.
