Adrian, MI – A Deputy Sheriff from the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office was in an Officer-involved shooting around 1:15am in the City of Adrian Sunday morning.
The Adrian City Police requested help in locating a subject who had pulled a gun at a residence and shots were fired. The Deputy was dispatched to assist and found the subject hiding in a nearby vacant lot. A shot was fired and the subject was taken to a local area hospital in critical condition.
The Deputy, a 31-year veteran, was not injured and was placed on administrative leave per the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office policy.
The Sheriff’s Office requested the Michigan State Police respond and conduct the investigation.
