Adrian, MI – ATHENA Lenawee has announced the recipients of their annual awards…and they will be honored at an event in May.
Michele Buku is this year’s ATHENA Leadership Award recipient. This award recognizes individuals who strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishments, who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and who open paths so that others may follow.
The Parthenon Award celebrates businesses dedicated to raising the potential of all women as valued members of their business, profession, and the community. This year’s recipient is the Lenawee Intermediate School District.
Nicki Underwood, Esq. is this year’s ATHENA Young Professional Award recipient. This award is for women 40 years old or younger who demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.
This year’s ATHENA Awards will be held on May 17th at 5:30 p.m. at the Hills of Lenawee.
