Michigan, U.S. – The incentives available from changing jobs, as well as a desire to get away from careers impacted most by COVID-19, are two big factors driving what’s been dubbed the “Great Resignation,” with millions of Americans quitting their jobs each month.
WalletHub took a look at the data to rank the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on how frequently people are leaving their places of employment. Michigan and Indiana were inside the top 20 list of states… with the mitten at 15th, and the Hoosier state at 17th.
Michigan’s resignation rate, the last 12 months, was 3.08%…with Indiana’s at 3.20%.
Data used to create the rankings were obtained from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
