Tecumseh, MI – With Spring around the corner, Lenawee County cemeteries are gearing-up for loved ones placing memorial items at gravesites…and Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh is no different.
The Cemetery Superintendent said in a release to WLEN News that flowers and flower pot decorations are allowed from May 15th through October 1st of each year.
Individual pots or plants in the ground is prohibited. Staked metal flower pot holders are allowed with permission from the cemetery superintendent. Cut or artificial flowers may be placed on any lot or grave in a pot or urn above ground and in line with markers or monuments. Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
