Adrian, MI – Daybreak Adult Day Services, in Adrian, is celebrating 21 years of business this month.
Now housed at the Piotter Center on Erie Street, in Adrian, the Lenawee Department on Aging has proudly coordinated the program for the last 11 years.
The group has a vision that a safe place for adults needing support, socialization, as well as providing caregivers with essential respite, was vital for Lenawee County.
Many believe adult daycare is designed to serve those living with dementia or memory loss, but individuals with a diagnosis of stroke, mobility limiting arthritis, vision impairment and other diagnoses that may not allow them to be left safely alone, may equally benefit from this program.
