Blissfield, MI – The Blissfield Public Works Department will be conducting a village-wide flushing of water hydrants in April.
This will take place from Sunday, April 5th until Friday April 15th to remove sediment that accumulates in the water lines. The flushing will be conducted between the hours of 11pm and 6am each day to minimize any inconvenience to customers.
Blissfield residents may notice the water has a rusty appearance. The Village says it is safe to use and drink. You should check the color or water before doing laundry. Run cold water for a short time to clear the lines.
