
Adrian Twp., MI – A mental health advocate in Lenawee County has died after being hit by a car nearly one week ago. The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Feb. 7th, at approximately 7am, Deputies responded to a car vs pedestrian crash on Howell Hwy north of Oakwood Road.
According to Sheriff’s Deputies, a 2020 Buick passenger car was traveling northbound on Howell Hwy. The driver of the Buick, a 32-year-old female from Tecumseh struck a pedestrian, a 48-year-old Greg Adams, who was jogging in the northbound lane.
Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors in this crash. Adams was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital, and passed away on Sunday, February 13th.
The Lenawee County Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene and the crash is under further investigation. The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Adrian Fire Department, Adrian Twp Police Department Raisin Twp Police Department and the City of Adrian Police Department.
