Adrian, MI – The spOt, the school-based enterprise at the LISD Tech Center was among 461 school-based enterprises achieving Gold for this school year and will be recognized during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Atlanta.
A school-based enterprise, is an entrepreneurial operation in a school setting that provides goods and services to meet the needs of the market. They are managed and operated by students as hands-on learning laboratories that integrate marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
The LISD Tech Center DECA members who contributed to the certification were Sydney Ricker, Grace Elliott, Ben Goodlock, Bryent Goldbach, Lauren Cook, Andra Patterson and Elisa Jackson with the assistance of their DECA chapter advisor Ashley Price and LISD Instructional Coach Gina Williams.
