Onsted, MI – The Boil Advisory within the Village of Onsted has been lifted for customers on Maple Street from Second Street south to Fourth Street (on both the east & west side of the street).

Repairs to the water main were completed Sunday, January 2nd. Onsted Department of Public Works Superintendent Jack Dillon said in a news release that the water is meeting the requirements set by the state, and that residents no longer have to boil their water. The Village thanks their residents for their cooperation and patience.

Residents should let their water run for 10 minutes to flush out any old water. The Village also says that you may want to clear aerators on sink faucets and any other filter on the water system. If you have rusty water, let your water run until it clears.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Village of Onsted Department of Public Works at (517) 467-2158.
