Lenawee County, MI – As we move into 2022, one important goal is to make sure your vehicle gets through the winter weather.

The Better Business Bureau has some tips to make sure it’s ready!

  • Make sure the hoses, wires and belts are in good shape. If your car is older, replacing the rubber parts makes sense because, regardless of your mileage, they deteriorate with age.
  • Consider installing winter wiper blades.
  • Check all your fluids, including the antifreeze, the windshield wiper fluid, the oil, and power steering fluids.
  • Check the battery.
  • Make sure your tires have enough tread and are properly inflated.
  • Have your car trunk equipped for emergencies by loading it up with a blanket, jacket, shovel, sandbags, flashlights, jumper cables, road flares, water, non-perishable snacks, and some spare wiper fluid and antifreeze.
