Adrian, MI – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported more than 32,000 COVID-19 cases from Thursday through Monday.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported 165 new confirmed cases from over the weekend, with 18 in the hospital as of December 27th. There have been 233 total confirmed COVID-19 deaths in the county since the start of the pandemic. MDHHS reported 274 deaths from Thursday through Monday…with 158 deaths identified during a Vital Records review.
There are currently 257 Lenawee County residents with the virus monitoring at home.
In Michigan, 57.0% of the eligible residents are fully vaccinated. That number for Lenawee County is at 48.7%.
