Hudson, MI – Former Fire Chief for the Morenci Fire Department, James Topps, has recently passed away.
He was born in Hudson in 1949, a ‘67 graduate of Hudson High School, and served in the United States Army after graduation.
James had been employed by General Broach of Morenci for 21 years, then as the VA&R Director with the American Legion Department of Michigan… retiring in 2014.
A memorial visitation for James will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Hudson. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Hannan-Colvin American Legion Post 180 in Hudson.
