Lenawee County, MI – Lenawee County’s two largest cities will hold Veterans Day events tomorrow. In Adrian, American Legion Post #97 will host a Veterans Day Prayer Ceremony in Monument Park at 11am. A parade will begin at 3pm in front of the Adrian Armory on Maumee Street and end at Monument Park.
Afterwards, Post #97 on North Main Street will provide a free turkey dinner to all Veterans starting at 4pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend and dine by donation.
In Tecumseh, there will be a Veterans Day Ceremony at Brookside Cemetery at 11am. Later on in the day, there will be a roast beef dinner at the American Legion Underwood Orr Post 34 on West Pottawatamie Street. The dinner is hosted by the SAL Squadron 34 and will be from 4-7pm. A veteran and one guest will be admitted for free. Non-veterans can dine with a $5 donation. It will be offered as a dine-in or carry-out.
