Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services updated the public on their latest COVID-19 numbers.
On Thursday, the LCHD reported 55 new confirmed cases, with 20 in the hospital. There have been 186 total COVID-19 deaths in the county since the start of the pandemic. That number has increased by one since our last report.
There are currently 391 Lenawee County residents with the virus monitoring at home.
In the State of Michigan, the MDHHS reported 7,108 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Tuesday and Wednesday. They also reported 135 total deaths over that time, with 78 of them identified during a Vital Records Review.
In Michigan, there are 5,061,748 (58.9%) fully vaccinated residents. That number for Lenawee County is 43,055 (50.4%).
