Brooklyn, MI – Nearly three months later, the circumstances of a 30-year-old Croswell woman’s death at the Faster Horses Festival have become slightly clearer.
Melissa Havens was found dead on the morning of July 17th, at the festival at Michigan International Speedway.
Multiple outlets report that Havens’ death certificate lists her manner of death as ‘natural.’ The certificate states Havens died due to complications of obesity, with drug and alcohol use also playing a factor.
The investigation has been closed and Havens’ death ruled as an accident by police for investigative purposes.
