Adrian, MI – Members of the So Mi’ Chapter of Credit Unions presented a $10,000 check to Catholic Charities of Jackson, Lenawee & Hillsdale Counties.
The money was raised at the So Mi’ Chapter’s annual charity golf outing at The Grande Golf Club in Jackson.
Funds raised will go to Catholic Charities’ Child Advocacy Centers. These centers, located in Jackson and Adrian, assist local law enforcement in providing essential care to children who are victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.
The CACs provide a comfortable, child-friendly atmosphere where children can receive the critical support they need while the investigative process happens behind the scenes. They are offered therapy and resource information, all at no cost.
The So-Mi’ Chapter of Credit Unions is formed from 8 separate credit unions located in Jackson, Lenawee and Washtenaw counties.
