Adrian, MI – The Adrian Police Department reports that two victims were severely beaten inside a residence Thursday morning…one to the point of unconsciousness.
They were dispatched to the scene, on Nelson Street, at around 5:43am.
Officers said that both victims had been severely beaten, one to the point of unconsciousness. A statement from one victim indicates that two suspects beat the victims with a bat, a hammer, and their fists, before fleeing the residence.
The wounded were transported to local hospitals. One was treated and released, the other remains in critical condition.
One suspect has been taken into custody, and their identity will be released after arraignment. A second, unknown suspect remains at large.
