Monroe, MI – The 74-year-old who died from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on US-23 has been identified.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reports that Stephen Fried, of Toledo, was driving a 2018 Hyundai Elantra when the crash happened near a construction zone in Dundee Township Monday morning.
It remains unknown whether excessive speed and/or intoxicating substances were a factor in the crash.
