
Adrian, MI- Six members of the 2020 and 2021 Adrian High School Outstanding alumni have been honored this year for their accomplishments.
Members of the 2020 Outstanding Alumni include: Chuck Chase, Tommy Heckert, and Jordan Hoffman.
Three members of the 2021 Outstanding Alumni were also recognized: Earl Dunlap, Dr. Suzanne Hickman, and Judy Rink Buckenmyer.
Chuck Chase has been a lifelong resident of Adrian and is being recognized for his Community Service. He served the City of Adrian as an elected City Commissioner for twenty-eight years.
Tommy Heckert is being honored posthumously for his career in Athletics as an NFL Executive. Tommy’s career started with the Miami Dolphins. He would eventually work in the front office for the Denver Broncos on their Super Bowl winning team a few years ago.
Jordan Hoffman has had a distinguished career in the Culinary Arts. He is a graduate of the AHS Class of 2000 and has shared his talents as an Executive Chef and Culinary Executive across the United States.
Dunlap was honored for his achievement in Community Service, Government and Politics. Earl began his journey in juvenile justice in 1968 as a Probation Officer in Lenawee County and as the Boys Treatment Director at Maurice Spear Campus.
Hickman has had a demanding teaching career and a gratifying singing career, for which she was honored in the area of Fine Arts.
Buckenmyer was honored posthumously, for her dedicated career in Education. She taught high school math for thirty-five years.
