Adrian, MI – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported new, and existing, COVID-19 outbreaks in school settings as of Monday, September 13th. A handful of Lenawee County schools are dealing with infections between both students and staff.
There are multiple ongoing outbreaks:
Tecumseh High School: 5 students/staff combined
Adrian High School: 3 students
Sand Creek Middle School: 4 students
Adrian College: 12 students
Regional Collegiate outbreaks:
University of Michigan- 283 students/staff combined
Eastern Michigan University: 21 students/staff combined
Morenci Schools were closed on Monday due to the number of staff and students that were quarantined.
