
Adrian, MI – Members from various Lenawee County Fire Departments gathered at the Adrian Fire Station Saturday morning to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11 and the honor the 343 firefighters who lost their lives in the aftermath of the rescue operations.

343 flags were placed on the station front lawn by the bell in the shape of the Twin Towers. The bell was rung 15 times at the exact time in the morning that the 4 planes crashed and the names of all 343 firefighters were read in a ceremony that lasted about an hour and a half.
