Onsted Lifts Boil Water Advisory

village-of-onsted-8-2021

Onsted, MI – The Village of Onsted has lifted their boil water advisory that was issued earlier this week.

A broken water line was reported for addresses along portions of Main Street, and the Utilities Superintendent Jack Dillon said that the pipes were fixed on Tuesday, August 31st.

The water was tested and passed all standards required by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. The Village said Friday that homeowners and businesses no longer have to boil their water, but if it appears to have air in it, just let it run for approximately 10 minutes. If problems persist, call the Village office and let them know.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Village Office (517) 467-4618 or Superintendent Jack Dillon (517) 918-0672.
