Adrian, MI – The young man hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Beecher and Main in Adrian…and is in critical condition at a hospital…is a varsity football player at Adrian High School.
Adrian Public Schools reported that students on the football team have been in communication with their coach and had a team meeting with crisis counselors to support the needs of their players and coaches.
This unfortunate event on top of a recent positive COVID-19 case within the football team has resulted in a number of students that need to be quarantined under the Lenawee County Health Department order.
As a result of these events, Adrian High School has decided to cancel the first varsity football game of the season this Friday.
